Los Angeles Fire Department personnel rescued a man who was stranded in a remote area in Chatsworth Monday evening.
Bystanders alerted the rescuers around 8:44 p.m. after they heard cries for help at Jeffrey Mark Court near Devonshire Street. LAFD personnel responded by ground and air, located the victim, hoisted him from the remote location and took him to a predetermined helicopter landing area, said spokesman Nicholas Prange.
The victim was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
