A 28-year-old woman who was struck by at least one vehicle and killed on the Pomona (60) Freeway in Montebello was identified Tuesday by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.
The crash was reported to the California Highway Patrol at 12:40 a.m. Monday and was on the eastbound freeway at Paramount Boulevard. Witnesses told the CHP it appeared a white SUV had overturned prior to the reports of a woman struck by vehicles.
According to the county medical examiner, the woman was identified as Alexandra Maumoyner of Duarte, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The CHP issued a Sigalert shutting down all eastbound lanes of the Pomona Freeway in the area to investigate and clear the crash.
