A body was found Wednesday in the Los Angeles River in the Boyle Heights area, and an investigation was underway.
The body was discovered about 6:25 a.m. near Seventh Street and Santa Fe Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department and the Los Angeles Police Deaprtment.
Information was not immediately available on the person’s identity or cause of death.
