A 27-year-old Los Angeles Police Department officer suffered a gunshot wound to his hand in Pacoima Friday, and a suspect was arrested.
The shooting was reported at 7:52 a.m. Friday in the 13200 block of Paxton Street, just southeast of the Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway west of Glenoaks Boulevard, according to LAPD Public Information Officer Madison.
A suspect was taken into custody, but a description of that person was not immediately available.
The details surrounding the shooting were not immediately provided.
