A man was killed after being mauled by several dogs in Compton Friday morning.
Deputies responded to the 900 block of N. Thorson Ave., a residential area south of Rosecrans Avenue, around 7:10 a.m. Friday to a report of a man who had been mauled by several dogs, according to the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department. The circumstances surrounding the mauling were not provided.
According to Deputy Santom of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau, the reporting party told deputies the man was her boyfriend. The name and age of the man were not given.
It was unclear how many and what type of dogs were involved. It was also not immediately disclosed what will become of those dogs.
