Riverside police Saturday evening asked the public for help locating a 41-year-old woman and her 6-year-old son, who haven’t been seen since she picked him up from school on Thursday.

Wendy Magana and Isaiah were last seen when she picked him up from school around 12:45 p.m. Thursday. They did not return to their La Sierra South neighborhood, near Fillmore Street and Arizona Avenue, according to Riverside police.

Police said that is unusual behavior for Magana, who has not made contact with family or others.

They said a license plate reader camera in San Clemente picked up her vehicle around 11:40 a.m. Friday but it hasn’t been captured since.

Magana is described as Hispanic, 5 feet 4 inches, 160 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, last seen wearing a gray sweater and black pants. Isaiah is Hispanic, 4 feet, 6 inches tall, 70 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, last seen wearing a blue jacket, black pants and white shoes.

Magana’s vehicle is a tan 2002 Toyota Camry four-door sedan, California license plate number 6BDG828.

Anyone who sees the mother, son or their vehicle was asked to call 951-354-2007.
