An at-risk 78-year-old man who went missing in the El Sereno area and was the subject of a Silver Alert was located, authorities said.
Jose Acosta, who was last seen about 11 a.m. Saturday at Huntington Drive South and Harriman Avenue was found safe around 10 p.m. on the same day, according to the California Highway Patrol.
No further details were released.
A Silver Alert is activated when an elderly, developmentally or cognitively impaired person goes missing and is determined to be at-risk to aid in the search for them.
