Los Angeles police continued their search Sunday for an at-risk 78-year-old man who went missing in the El Sereno area.
Jose Acosta was last seen about 11 a.m. Saturday at Huntington Drive South and Harriman Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol’s Silver Alert. He is believed to be on foot.
Acosta is Hispanic. He stands 5 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs 170 pounds. He has gray hair and black eyes, and was last seen wearing a black sweater, gray shirt, blue pants and brown shoes.
Anyone with information was asked to call 911. Tipsters cam also call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.
A Silver Alert is activated when an elderly, developmentally or cognitively impaired person goes missing and is determined to be at-risk to aid in the search for them.
