A 33-year-old man who was found fatally shot in the unincorporated Willowbrook area was identified Monday by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies from the Century Station were called at approximately 11:35 p.m. Friday to the 11900 block of Willowbrook Avenue at East 119th Street where they found two victims with gunshot wounds, said homicide Lt. Michael Thomas.
One victim was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics and the second man was taken to a hospital in stable condition.
The county medical examiner identified Abel Lopez of Los Angeles as the fatally injured man.
