A 38-year-old man faces 10 years in prison when he is scheduled to be sentenced for molesting two girls, one who was a daughter of his fiancee and another he coached in softball, according to court records obtained Wednesday.

Diego Armando Bautista pleaded guilty Monday to two felony counts of lewd or lascivious acts with a minor younger than 14. Bautista, who is scheduled to be sentenced March 19, is expected to get 10 years in prison, according to court records.

Bautista, who lived with one of the girls since she was 1, was accused of first molesting her when she was 8 in 2015, according to prosecutors.

Bautista was charged with molesting the other girl, starting when she was 10 at the end of 2016 while staying at a family cabin in Crestline, prosecutors said.

On Jan. 10, 2019, one of the victims — when she was 13 — came forward to Orange County sheriff’s deputies alleging that Bautista had been molesting her for more than three years in Stanton, according to Carrie Braun, a spokeswoman for the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
