A fire was burning Friday in a commercial building in the South Gate area.
Firefighters were sent to Firestone Boulevard and Santa Fe Avenue about 6:50 a.m., according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The flames burned through the roof of the building, and a second-alarm assignment of firefighters was sent to the scene.
No injuries were immediately reported.
