A person fell into a body of water at Fletcher Park Thursday in El Monte, prompting a search operation.
According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, firefighters responded Thursday to the 3400 block of Fletcher Park Way, where a person had been lost inside a body of water at Fletcher Park.
It was unclear how the person became lost, and the search remained ongoing Thursday evening.
