A Gardena middle school was placed on lockdown Friday after an apparent fight.
“Peary Middle School is on lockdown; no weapons are involved,” a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles School Police Department said in a statement.
No details about the fight at the school in the 1400 block of West Gardena Boulevard were immediately available, and it was unclear if anyone was injured.
