Twelve motorists were cited for operating a motor vehicle without a license or with a suspended or revoked license at a DUI/driver’s license operation in Pomona Saturday.
The checkpoint was held from 9 p.m. Friday until 2 a.m. Saturday at Garey and Lexington avenues, the Pomona Police Department’s Traffic Services Bureau reported.
A total of 526 vehicles were screened during the operation.
In 2023, the Pomona Police Department investigated 100 DUI collisions that resulted in two deaths and injured 60 people, according to department statistics.
