An armed suspect barricaded himself in Koreatown Tuesday, prompting an standoff with law enforcement.
Officers responded to the 3900 block of Wilshire Boulevard around 2:40 p.m. on a report of an assault with a deadly weapon, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
It was unclear if anyone had been injured.
Police established a containment in the area.
