A possibly armed domestic violence suspect surrendered after barricading in a residence in Harbor City for nine hours Tuesday.
Officers sent to the 26200 block of President Avenue, near Anaheim Street, about 9 a.m. on a domestic violence call learned that the man was possibly armed with a firearm, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Police established a perimeter, sent for a SWAT team and routed traffic away from the area.
The standoff ended around 6 p.m. after the suspect surrendered and was arrested.
