A man was killed Saturday in a shooting in the Central-Alameda area of Los Angeles.
The shooting was reported at 2:45 p.m. Saturday in the 4600 block of Compton Avenue, Los Angeles Police Department Officer David Cuellar told City News Service.
A gunman, whose description was unavailable, fired multiple gunshots at the victim, believed in his 30s, Cuellar said.
The victim was taken by ambulance to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, the officer said.
Suspect information was not immediately available but the shooting was believed to have been gang-related, he said.
