A fire at a two-story, garden-style town home complex in Van Nuys was quickly put out Wednesday evening.
Fire crews were called to the 14500 block of West Gault Street near Van Nuys Boulevard at approximately 9:43 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Upon arriving at the 10-unit complex, they extended hose lines through tight spaces among excessive storage to reach the flames in the first floor unit, LAFD spokesman Nicholas Prange said.
It took 30 firefighters 15 minutes to confine and extinguish the fire and protect adjacent units from flames.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
