A man who was found fatally wounded in Cerritos was identified Thursday.
Enrique Vega, 42, was identified by the Los Angeles County Department Medical Examiner’s office.
Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Cerritos station responded to the 13300 block of Artesia Boulevard regarding a vehicle collision call at about 1:15 a.m. Sunday. They found a vehicle with significant front-end damage and a man inside suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper body.
Paramedics rushed Vega to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
