A stove fire damaged a kitchen in a Porter Ranch home Saturday.
The fire was reported at 5:39 p.m. Saturday at 18309 W. Chatsworth St., east of Reseda Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Brian Humphrey.
“Firefighters took just 15 minutes to access, confine and fully extinguish a stove fire that extended to room contents and kitchen cabinetry within a 1,558-square-foot, one-story home with a pair of attached auxiliary dwelling units,” Humphrey said.
The LAFD assigned 28 firefighters to the case, he said.
No injuries were reported, he said.
