A body of a 50-year-old man that was found inside a parked, stolen U-Haul truck in the Mid-City area of Los Angeles was identified Friday.
The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner’s office identified the victim as Henry Jernigan.
The body was discovered about 10:25 a.m. Thursday near the 2400 block of Redondo Boulevard after a neighbor contacted police, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Jernigan’s body was discovered underneath a tarp inside the stolen U-Haul, Fox 11 reported.
It was unclear if there was anything suspicious about Jernigan’s death.
