Operating from a defensive mode, Los Angeles Fire Department firefighters knocked down a fire at a one-story home Saturday in Mission Hills.
Fire crews were called at 1:02 a.m. to 15001 W. Mission Hills Road near Indian Hills Road where they used large amounts of water to extinguish the intense flames around the perimeter of the home, said LAFD spokesman Nicholas Prange.
It took a total of 48 firefighters 45 minutes to extinguish the fire.
No injuries were reported.
