Firefighters put out a blaze sparked by a vehicle in a parking structure below a convalescent home Sunday evening.
The fire was reported at 7:45 p.m. Sunday at the facility, which features three residential stories above the parking structure, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokesperson Lyndsey Lantz.
Firefighters extinguished the fire in under 35 minutes, Lantz said. It was not immediately clear how the vehicle ignited.
A female patient was injured when she fell while the facility was being evacuated and was transported to a local hospital, Lantz said.
There were no other injuries reported.
