A Metrolink train apparently struck a woman in Pacoima Sunday, yet no fatality or patient was found at the scene, authorities said.

Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched at 10:48 a.m. Sunday to 11321 N. San Fernando Road, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.

The train might have struck a woman in the vicinity of San Fernando Road and Jessie Street, and then continued a short distance before coming to an emergency stop.

“No apparent patient or fatality found,” the LAFD’s Lyndsey Lantz said. “No reported injuries to train crew or passengers.”

LAFD personnel were assisting with passenger de-boarding of the train.
