Three people were forced to evacuate their homes when a construction crew struck a gas line Friday in Calabasas.

No injuries were reported, according to a spokeswoman with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched at 9:06 a.m. Friday to the 3500 block of Pansy Drive, east of Mulholland Highway. A gas company crew was eventually called out to the location and had the incident “under control” at 10:23 a.m.

It was not immediately known if the three residents were allowed to return to their homes.
