Firefighters knocked down a structure fire Saturday in the Pico-Robertson area of Los Angeles.

The blaze inside an accessory dwelling unit with excessive storage at 1647 S. Bedford St., north of Airdrome Street, was reported at 12:06 p.m., according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey.

The department dispatched 28 firefighters to the scene and extinguished the flames in about 20 minutes, Humphrey said.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire was under investigation, Humphrey said.
