A Los Angeles Police Department officer is in the hospital Tuesday after their patrol vehicle was struck during a vehicle impound in Echo Park, authorities said.
The officer was struck at around 11:30 p.m. Monday at near Stadium Way and Lilac Terrace, according to KTLA 5.
The officer was taken to a hospital in an unknown condition.
