Police arrested a man who allegedly pointed a gun at a group of people in Long Beach, authorities said Friday.
Long Beach Police Department officers responded at 8:07 p.m. Thursday to the area of 15th Street and Cherry Avenue regarding an assault with a deadly weapon call. When they arrived at the scene , officers found the suspect and arrested him, according to the police department.
Police recovered a gun at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
