Two boys were arrested in connection with the stabbing of another juvenile on board a Metro bus in Glendale and authorities Tuesday are searching for a third suspect and investigating the circumstances surrounding the assault.

The stabbing was reported around 7:05 p.m. Monday near West Los Feliz Road and South Central Avenue regarding a passenger who had been stabbed on the bus, CBS2 reported.

Three juvenile suspects approached the victim, a teenaged boy, and attempted to steal his backpack, according to Fox 11.

The victim was stabbed during the attempted robbery and the suspects ran away from the scene, but officers from the Glendale Police Department caught two of the suspects.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is handling the investigation of the stabbing, according to the Glendale police.
