A fire damaged a house in the Lake Balboa area Wednesday.
Firefighters sent to the 6500 block of North McLennan Avenue at 10:26 a.m. extinguished the flames in the single-story building in 23 minutes, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
No injuries were reported.
According to the LAFD, “all occupants escaped the house prior to fire department arrival. Several cats were pulled to safety by firefighters and treated for smoke inhalation.”
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
