One person was arrested for driving under the influence and five others were cited for driving without a license during a DUI/drivers license operation in Palm Springs, authorities said Saturday.
The DUI checkpoint was held at Ramon and Cerritos roads from 7 p.m. Friday to 1 a.m. Saturday, the Palm Springs Police Department said.
According to the police department, a total of 640 vehicles came through during the checkpoint.
The next DUI/drivers license operation in Palm Springs will be held on May 31, police said.
