A 92-year-old woman with an unspecified medical condition that requires medication was reported missing Tuesday after being last seen in an unincorporated area near South Los Angeles.
Mercedes Laura Alvarez was last seen in the 1200 block of West 96th Street, near Vermont Avenue, in Westmont around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies described Alvarez as a 4-foot-10-inch tall Hispanic woman weighing 108 pounds with red hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black dress and stockings.
