A man was shot to death Sunday in Irwindale and the gunman remains on the loose.
The shooting near the San Gabriel River (605) Freeway south of the Foothill (210) Freeway occurred around 10:30 a.m. Sunday, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, the LASD reported. His name was withheld pending notification of the next of kin.
A motive for the shooting was unknown at this time and there was no immediate suspect information.
The sheriff’s department is assisting Irwindale police in the investigation.
