Authorities Tuesday continued investigating a vehicle versus motorcycle crash that killed a motorcyclist in Wildomar, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said.
The crash was reported around 2:40 p.m. Monday near the intersection of Grape and Olive Streets.
Responding deputies and CalFire began performing lifesaving measures on the motorcyclist before being rushed to a hospital, where the person was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation, according to sheriff’s officials. Alcohol and drugs were not believed to be a factor in the crash.
The identity of the motorcyclist was withheld pending notification to the next of kin.
