A 28-year-old woman was charged Wednesday with attacking two people with a butane torch in Placentia.
Cerina Nicole Uriarte was charged with two counts of attempted murder and two counts of unlawfully causing a fire with great bodily injury, all felonies. She was accused of attacking the victims, a man and woman, with a butane torch on May 20, according to the criminal complaint.
The motive for the alleged crime was not provided.
Uriarte was booked into Orange County Jail on Friday.
