A man was shot to death Friday in Compton.
The fatal shooting occurred around 6:25 a.m. Friday in the 2200 block of West 153rd Street, near Bursch Elementary School, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The victim, who was not immediately identified, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the department.
There was no suspect information and a possible motive for the shooting was unclear.
