One man was killed and another man hospitalized Saturday afternoon in a car-to-car shooting in the Exposition Park area of Los Angeles.

The shooting occurred at about 2 p.m. in front of 1122 Browning Blvd. near the intersection of Budlong Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Los Angeles Police Department Officer David Cuellar told City News Service.

Both victims were believed to be about 25 years old, Cuellar said. They were sitting inside a vehicle when they were shot by someone inside a white older-model Toyota four-door sedan that fled the scene, he added.

One victim was pronounced dead at the scene and the other was taken to a hospital by ambulance in unknown condition, Cuellar said.
