Sheriff’s homicide detectives were investigating a man’s death in Monrovia Monday.
Monrovia police officers were summoned at 9:22 p.m. Sunday to the 700 block of West Duarte Road, according to the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.
A news videographer at the scene reported the man was shot in the neck and died after paramedics took him to a hospital.
A suspect was taken into custody, the videographer said.
