Two people were critically injured in a multi-vehicle collision in Pacoima Tuesday evening.
Los Angeles Fire Department personnel were called at 10:20 p.m. to the area near the eastbound Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway and the Foothill (210) Freeway, where they found the wreckage and the victims trapped inside a vehicle, said LAFD spokesman Nicholas Prange.
Using hydraulic rescue tools firefighters were able to free the victims, who were then taken to a hospital.
A third person was taken to a hospital in moderate condition, Prange said.
