A 55-year-old man who was killed in a three-vehicle crash involving a semi truck on the Foothill (60) Freeway in Azusa was identified Thursday.
The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner’s office identified the victim as Jay Park. Park was pronounced dead at the scene. It was not immediately known what caused the crash.
California Highway Patrol officers were called to the westbound freeway and Azusa Avenue at 10:28 p.m. Monday where they found the damaged vehicles and the victim, CHP Officer told Sergio Garcia City News Service.
The CHP issued a SigAlert for the closure of four lanes of the westbound freeway for several hours while they investigated the crash.
