A man was hospitalized Saturday afternoon after being shot in the Vermont-Slauson area of Los Angeles.
The shooting was reported about 3:45 p.m. Saturday at Hoover and 60th streets, Los Angeles Police Department Officer Charles Miller told City News Service.
The victim’s condition was not available, Miller said. He was taken to a hospital in a private vehicle and officers were sent there to await word.
Suspect information was also not immediately available, the officer said.
Officers were at the crime scene and looking for leads, he said.
