Officers recovered a handgun during a routine traffic stop in Long Beach, authorities said Sunday.
The traffic stop occurred at about 6 p.m. Saturday near 20th Street and Pacific Avenue, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
“The suspect was determined to be a prohibited possessor and was arrested,” police said.
No further information was immediately available.
