A motorcyclist struck a metal pole and was killed Monday evening in Torrance.
Officers responded near the intersection of Crenshaw and Torrance boulevards around 6:50 p.m. Monday regarding a crash where one person was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Torrance Police Department.
Video shot by South Bay Responders depicted the dead person at the scene as the motorcyclist.
It was unclear what led up to the collision.
Police said Crenshaw Boulevard was closed from Torrance Boulevard to Del Amo Boulevard following the crash.
