The Riverside County Fire Department rescued a hiker Friday after responding to a medical emergency call at the Pacific Crest Trail.
The incident was reported shortly before 2 p.m. at the Snow Creek Trailhead, according to a Riverside County Fire Department statement.
A Riverside County Sheriff’s Department helicopter rescued two people and delivered them to awaiting firefighters.
One of the two hikers was determined to have moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to a hospital. The other person was not injured.
No other details were immediately available.
