Firefighters from the Riverside County Fire Department rescued an injured hiker near Pine Cove Saturday.
The hiker was reported injured at 9:15 a.m. Saturday at Willow Creek Trail.
A rescue helicopter from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department hoisted the hiker off the trail to awaiting firefighters for treatment.
The hiker was moderately injured and was taken to a hospital by ground ambulance, the fire department reported.
