It took 24 minutes for firefighters to put out flames in the basement of an Eagle Rock house Monday morning.
The fire was reported at 2:33 a.m. at 4991 E. Almaden Drive, the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Nicholas Prange said.
The flames were out at 2:57 a.m. and no injuries were reported, Prange said.
