A 29-year-old woman struck and killed by a vehicle on an on-ramp to the southbound Harbor (110) Freeway in Carson was identified Wednesday by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.
The crash occurred about 3:40 a.m. Sunday on the Carson Street on-ramp, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The medical examiner identified the victim as Nadia Ritchie, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
A SigAlert was issued at 4:12 a.m. closing the on-ramp and the slow lane, the CHP said.
