A 41-year-old Lake Elsinore man has been arrested for allegedly attacking another man with a knife, authorities said Thursday.
Deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department’s Lake Elsinore station were called to the 32000 block of Riverside Drive at about 10:45 p.m. Wednesday.
“The victim reported being attacked with a knife by a white male adult and sustained injuries to his head,” the department said. “During the course of the investigation, the suspect was identified as 41-year-old Michael Losoya … After a search of the area, the suspect was located a short distance away and was taken into custody.
“The victim was medically evaluated at the scene but refused additional medical assistance,” the department said.
Losoya was booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center on suspicion of attempted murder and resisting arrest, with bail set at $1 million.
