Firefighters put out flames that engulfed a row of large Cypress trees and threatened structures in Northridge, authorities said Friday.
The flames were reported at 11:57 p.m. Thursday in the 8300 block of North Paso Robles Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Nicholas Prange.
The flames were out by 12:15 a.m. before any structures were burned, Prange said.
No injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation, he said.
The location is a few miles east of where firefighters put out a similar fire in a row of cypress trees about three hours earlier.
