A man was killed Friday morning in a two-to-three-vehicle crash on the Artesia (91) Freeway in Cerritos.
The crash was reported to the California Highway Patrol at 1:14 a.m. on the eastbound Artesia Freeway at Gridley Road, Officer Sean Lough told City News Service.
Two to three vehicles were involved, according to reports from the scene.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, Lough said.
Crash details were not available.
The CHP issued a SigAlert shutting down the southbound San Gabriel River (605) Freeway transition to the eastbound Artesia Freeway and the HOV, No. 1 and No. 2 lanes of the eastbound Artesia Freeway at Gridley Road while the investigation continued.
